Baptist Endocrinology - Mandarin Office

I recently retired and relocated to Jacksonville, and the Mandarin location was recommended to me. The hospital affiliation and "MyChart" feature make EVERYTHING so easy - even for a senior like me. I was even able to link the Baptist information to my old information from Charleston, so my doctors can see all of my history. But here's the main thing... you can just pick up the phone and get a living breathing person to help whenever you need to. There are no long waiting times, and appointments can be made to fit MY schedule. Most importantly, Dr. Jami and the entire staff are both personable and professional. They make you feel personally "cared for."

Dr. Jami is a literal life saver! After almost 3 years of "passing" all other tests and experiencing worsening symptoms no one else could solve, she was able to pin point what was wrong withing 10 minutes of meeting. She helped set up a plan of success and I am truly grateful for her! I could not have asked for a better doctor to help me.

If you’re are looking to be greeted very cold and then treated as if you’re 2 with no guidance this is the place for you. The front desk is RUDE and lack the least bit of customer service. Everything is snappy and it just sad and a bad vibe. As for the doctor(Jami), she tries to be so blunt and not very understanding and helpful. You ask for options and affordable meds and you get told “I can’t help what’s not covered” but you’re not given a solution. She literally had me feeling like a poor excuse of a human because I could not afford the medication. Further more she didn’t ask how I was feeling or what were my concerns. Also I waited 6 weeks for a medication that they didn’t even call in to the pharmacy but I got an attitude from her when I let her know how I kept calling in to let them know and she never acknowledged it. No explanations of anything!!! PLEASE choose wisely when going here! I thought I made a good decision from reading some of the other reviews but this was a big mistake! STAY AWAY!
